#5: Spitfire
Invented by: Osmiridium College (none of the students or professors would come forward to take credit for the recipe that was in circulation at the time)
Type: Entertainment
Complexity: Low (C2)
We use it for: party drink, spitting contests, pranks
Appearance: tones of darker red that seem to layer on each other and have a grainy texture under the light. Roughly the same viscosity as eggnog.
Taste: cinnamon with notes of tree bark. Spicy, medium heat, but may be too much for those with a mild palate.
Effect: consumants develop combustible saliva when drinking this draught, and their spit will usually ignite once it leaves their mouth. Often results in spitting contests when consumed knowingly, and used as a prank when consumed unknowingly. Banned from most Dreaming establishments because intoxication and flammable spit are a dangerous combination. Often taken on campouts as a recreational activity, and responsible for the occasional wildfire.
