#19: Cheritza
Invented by: Miqo Morquela
Type: Entertainment
Complexity: Moderate (C4)
We use it for: looking pretty
Appearance: a very dark red, almost black; viscosity of water.
Taste: fizzy, bittersweet black cherry.
Effect: produces a flower of a random species on the the consumant's head (usually just above the ear or somewhere around that latitude; rarely sprouts at the top of the consumant's head). The flower has no outstanding qualities and can be plucked off without discomfort, though if left alone, it can remain for two to three weeks before wilting.
Notes
- This draught's nothing special compared to a lot of other draughts. All it does is produce a flower from the consumant's head; but because of that, it's a good introductory draught for first-time draught drinkers. The effects of some of the other draughts would probably put most mortals into a panic if they've never had a Dreaming draught before, but this one is mild, as such things go, and it has good flavor. -Miqo
- It seems that on the very rare occasion, this draught will have a permanent effect. I had someone complain to me yesterday that whenever she picked the flower off, a new one from a different species would grow back within a day, and it had been doing this for months. I had to deconstruct her body and reassemble it from raw matter to get it to stop. -Solebarr
