#13: Wild Child

Invented by: Kitty Hawk Resquill-Syntaritov
Type: Social
Complexity: Medium-high (C5)
We use it for: getting people amped up, liquid courage

Appearance: opaque blue with white swirls, viscosity slightly thicker than water; known to smell like salt water and sunscreen.

Taste: sweet fizzy citrus creamsicle.

Effect: a thrill-inducing draught that blunts caution and wariness, and inspires generalized excitement in the consumant. Does not inhibit the fear response, which is required for the thrill sensation, but does weaken other, more rational emotions that guard against risk-taking behavior.

Notes

  • It took a few exploded concoctions and several revisions, but this is the first draught recipe that Kitty's ever invented. It's surprisingly complex for a first-time recipe, but it holds up under scrutiny. It's good for helping people get the nerve up to do risky things, or things they've never done before. -Miqo
  • Things or people they've never done before :3 -Kitty
  • Child, I will tell you the same thing I told your father: if I catch you vandalizing my draughtbook with unnecessary commentary, I'm going to introduce your forehead to the business end of a rolled-up magazine. -Miqo
