Steps to Reproduce

Using Plutarch

  3. indent the list (select and click "nest block")

Hey there! What you’re running into isn’t actually a rendering bug, but a limitation of how nested lists work in the editor. A nested (indented) list must belong to a parent list item. When the entire list is indented without a parent item above it, the structure becomes invalid. If the list has a valid parent it will be rendered normally in view mode!

I think the issue here could also that bullet lists are created with - in front, and they are only converted into a proper list when they are found at the beginning of a line, not with spaces or tabs in front.   "- list entry" works.     " - list entry" will not work.
