Description

I frequently use bbcode for user or usercard to link to specific users' author pages and noted it's not working as expected for a specific user. Instead of resolving to their name with a link to their author page, it remains blank as if an invalid username was added.   The user I was trying to link to is "Valen's Expeditions", https://www.worldanvil.com/author/Valen%27s%20Expeditions. I've tried [user:Valen's Expeditions] as well as [user:Valen%27s%20Expeditions] and both fail to resolve. The bbcode works with other names that have spaces or special characters, such as "Make lore, not war", which makes me think the issue is the apostrophe.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. While editing an article, enter user or usercard bbcode for username Valen's Expeditions.
  2. When viewing the article, this should resolve to Valen with a link to their author page. It instead remains blank.

Hey, I understand the issue, but the apostrophe is a special character that's reserved for specific usage when parsing BBCode and cannot be ignored - I can only suggest swapping the BBCode tag for this username to a link instead.
