Looking out at the surrounding space, no star was close enough to be more than a tiny hole in the secret of space. They were exactly nowhere. Again.
"Are you sure this is it?" the captain asked again.
"Yes Captain. This is where the star chart we bought from the scavenger said the Amook star system should be."
"So either an entire solar system has disappeared without a trace, or we've been bamboozled by an intergalactic snake oil salesman."
"What does that mean?" Breeken asked.
"It means that we were lied to."
"So what do we do now, Captain?" the navigator asked.
"We keep on looking. Just like always."
