In Minecraftia, there are four major factions run by humans: The warrior faction, redstone faction, builder faction, and griefer faction. Alternatively, they go by different names: The Diamond Kingdom, the Red Society, the Block Empire, and the Griefer Syndicate.
The system of education in Minecraftia was originally created forty years ago by scientists within the Red Society in order to use schools to educate the youth more efficiently at learning to use redstone. Over time, other factions noticed how effective it was and sought to bring schools to their settlements. After much trial and error, it was decided that the Red Society would assist in creating schools. As a result, the program changed from teaching the youth to use redstone to teaching them various different subjects on the world around them. However, as the factions of Minecraftia were often at odds in the past, any assistance from redstone helpers is heavily moderated by the respective faction, particularly on history classes. The amount of censorship enforced varies with the faction.
The decision to incorporate combat training into the DIEPY(Diamond Imperial Education for the Preparation of the Youth) was made as a result of recent events and is overall a topic of great controversy.
I am looking forward to Day 7. Ms. Sandeye is a total badass...this is the most fun I've had with a Minecraft fan fic- there's nothing nasty, just storytelling and I want to see if David will win the day. Good job on planting the first 3 questions in the first act: Will David defeat the Wither? Will David best his bully? Will David prove to himself he has what it takes? Keep going, you are getting better.
