The individual named Boreas Dante, is known more infamously as Black Dog. His ship, the Hebe’s Phoenix has been involved in some questionable activities. Though most of the criminal-adjacent movements have taken place within the Fringe, a few of the incidents have involved assets within the Central Network. As a result a throughout investigation has run its course and yielded some peculiar details.
Boreas Dante was born and raised on a remote colony first developed by the Xeonites, a religious extremist group originating on Mars. The colony, Tigress, had shed its extremism over a century of growth but essentially was still held on to the movement’s fundamentals. When Boreas was born, the political landscape was under threat from reform. His family send him away the best way they knew how in the hopes of having a better life than they could provide.
He ended up in an indentured camp for youth labour on a far flung way-station where he worked for scraps until finally escaping on transport ship containing highly volatile cargo. Narrowly escaping capture and death he found himself at the bustling space port of Joie de Vivre.
As a teen he worked odd jobs and earned a living among the throngs of the destitute in the Fringe.
The first notable incident with Boreas was a report of a stolen shuttle by someone matching his description. The youth had evaded capture and the shuttle was eventually found. No charges were officially laid, so the case soon found itself filed away, unresolved.
The next major footnote involving Boreas Dante, was markedly more serious in nature.

This chapter is absolutely gripping! I love how you craft Boreas’ world with such depth the Fringe feels alive, dangerous, and layered, and you’ve made his struggles and cunning completely immersive. Your writing makes me feel both sympathy and fascination for him, and I can’t get enough of the tension simmering beneath every page. I’m dying to know what’s the next move for Boreas, and how far will his path pull him into the Central Network’s orbit?
