"What is it that mother wanted for me again..."
Emma inhaled a deep breath as she walked outside of the gate of the castle halls, like a newborn child keenly observing literally everything around her. She quickly found that the world was a proper blend of Medieval Fantasy and Scifi--
Other than the grim fate of this world, Emma judged the world to be odd but aesthetically pleasing. A blend of various races, trends, and temperaments but the city was bustling just like any other city would.
Less office places of course. Deskjobs not being so popular given the unending and evergrowing apocalypse that kept storming the Last Bastion.
But other than that, the city was more than prosperous. and not to mention HUGE. Teleportation Gates everywhere indicating how vast and layered the city is.
Emma got lost in wonders taking in what ever she sees and then comparing it to the information imprinted to aid her.
People carrying weapons. Swords, Guns, Staves, and a like...
Clothes and fashion.
Various races and subraces.
Carriages... Carts... Mounts...
Shops...
Food...

It was then when Emma started to have an appreciation towards the amount of credits lent to her by the kingdom. 10,000 credits was more than enough to live healthily and reasonably for two or more years.
Though Reality is, 10,000 was magnanimous but no where near enough. The luxuries and leisure that collective sentient species have thought of was mind boggling to even start.
She can already imagine herself being broke after just a day or two after losing to gambling or getting addicted to some expensive weird pleasure experience.
Then there comes the catch.
Forced Servitude as the king called it. "Fair" but... helps you realize how much you're really worth. And then comes the yearly stipen that is adjusted depending on your level.
Fail that, then off you go. Either slavery or exile.
Not really that wonderland ain't it?
Emma grabbed another bite of Candied Joy, as she thought of things. Her eyes almost rolled backwards as she tasted the Sweet and tangy flavor of the candy, followed by an uncontrolled burst of happiness and giddiness.
"Whaaat the fuck is this shit..."
The 1 year old girl blurted before covering her own face. Laughing. Everyone in the area having an idea of what the candy does laughing, along with her as they passed by.

Finally shaking the brief experience, Emma contemplated on which path she should take.
Having the literal knowledge of Earth's human civilization as well as a inkling of her bodies potential...
Emma thought it was more of a choice which should she spend time on... and how much time does she have.
She paused recalling what her mother wanted for her.
To learn and do things, explore the world, make friends, enemies, have fun. Try different food and experiences. And only fight battles you can easily win over.
Escape the ones you'll have a chance in losing. But know when to risk.
Do what you feel like and never settle.
Help your siblings every once in a while.
And fail if you really can't help it. Break your promises, find a new home and just... be happy.
I wish you a quiet Isekai life my child. Know that mother will always love you.
