Glee is preparing to send a runner to Stasto when a few Harpies approach him. Speaker says to Glee “They want to know what you do?”
Glee says “I’m having him run a message to Stasto for me.”
Speaker says “Run a message?”
The runner says “We aren’t as vocal as you. So I carry messages from farm to farm.”
Speaker explains to the others, then says “She wants to see.” Motioning to a Harpy.
The runner says “Then she just has to follow me” and with that, he turns and starts heading off. Speaker speaks to the Harpy and she soon follows the runner.
The runner keeps a good pace as the Harpy flies overhead. The Harpy lands when he reaches Stasto farmhouse. Stasto says to the runner “Howdy.”
The runner says “Message from Glee” and hands the message over.
As Stasto reads the letter, The Harpy says “Stasto! Stasto!”
Stasto says to the Harpy “What do you want?” But the Harpy keep repeating his name. Soon Stasto and the runner realize she is pointing at something. They look at where she is pointing and see she is pointing at the sign to show the Harpies which farm to go to when bringing their kills in.
The runner says to Stasto “I wonder, can you write a letter Glee saying this…”
Stasto soon has a new letter written and the runner draws Glee’s farm symbol on a piece of paper. The runner shows the symbol to the Harpy then wraps it around the paper and ties it to the Harpy’s leg. He says to the Harpy “Go to Glee” and points towards Glee’s farm. The Harpy nods and takes off.
Stasto and the runner watch as the Harpy fly away. Stasto says to the runner “I hope this works.”
The runner says “So do I. I mean when you think about it, they don’t need to follow the roads and can travel faster.”
Soon the Harpy comes flying back. She holds out her leg to the runner. He sees it is warped in a piece of paper with Stasto's symbol on it. Stasto reads the letter out loud “Good Idea. Speaker is explaining it to the others now.” Stasto says “She was faster.”
