Stonewood Kentucky, 2014
Nathan opened his locker, reached for his history textbook, and put it in his book bag. He felt the hairs on the back of his head stand on end and turned around. He looked up from his short height to see a large 6 foot tall redhead young man looking down on him, Nathan calmy shut his locker door and said to him “Chad what do you want now?” The young man smiled and said “nothing in particular shorty, I just wanted to remind you of your place fairy" Nathan kept calm and said to him “now lets keep calm Chad I didn’t do anything to you” Chad smiled and pulled up Nathan by the collar of his plaid shirt “this time your boyfriend aint gonna be here to stop me” He then pulled back his fist for a punch and Nathan closed his eyes and braced for a beat down. Chad then felt a someone grab his arm and stop him from planting his fist into the smaller Nathan’s face. He looked behind him to see another boy about the same height and build as him. The other boy said to him in his upper Midwest accent “hey Chad leave the guy alone before I put my fist into your ugly face” Chad clenched his teeth and released Nathan saying “what ever I need to get to class anyways” he then quickly made his way to class. Nathan looked up at him and spoke “hey Sam thanks for helping me out” Sam smiled and put one arm around Nathans waist as he blushed. It was hard to think that they had been officially together for a year, they had always been open about and never tried to hide it. Why would Nathan? He had been harassed before coming out so coming out did not make much of a difference. Sam smiled and reached around and places his hand on his boyfriends bony butt to Nathans increased blushing. Sam smiled and said “hey maybe tonight, we could get together and have some fun?” Nathan replied evasively “not tonight I have things to do... like a project for biology” Sam shrugged “no rush Nate we can do it when you're ready” he then looked at his watch and sighed “ill see you later almost time for second period” Nate waved as he watched his tall boyfriend walk away.Nathan sighed when he saw him leave his point of view he sighed and ran his hand through his thin dark brown and started talking to him “I am such an idiot my boy friend wants to fuck me but I don’t want too”.
Nathan was strange for his age, despite being 18 he was still short, being only about 5’ 3’’, very thin and pale, he also despite being desperately love with his boyfriend, had no desire to fuck him at all witch he found very annoying. For the past year every time the two would attempt to consummate their relationship Nathan would decide not too and the two would just cuddle all night, At this point Nate feared that his unwillingness to put out would make Sam seek his sexual satisfaction would make him go elsewhere. A handsome guy like that could have any guy or girl he wanted, Nathan felt like a waste at times. Nathan sighed at went to his second period. The rest of the day was very uneventful, nothing that great but also no death threats so that was just as Nathan liked it.
Later that day Nathan and Sam got off the bus at Gorden’s trailer park a small trailer park on the outskirts of the small town of Stonewood. Sam smiled as he took Nathan’s hand unashamed of the two of them being together even in a place like this witch was often hostile to people that stood out. The two of them walked to the end of the line of mobile homes until they reached two at the end. Sam smiled and said to him “hey Ill come over later ok?” Nathan smiled “yeah sure” The two then departed as Nathan went to the left to his home and Sam went to the right to his house.
