Artisan
Artisans are the talented craftspeople behind much of the beauty of the world. The vast majority of objects in the Sol System are handcrafted. Clothing, furniture, toiletries and more are all specially commissioned or made to order.
Tellus
Tellus is a verdant blend of forests and oceans. To protect its delicate ecosystems and fragile beings Tellus is placed under protective sequestration.
Inner World
The innermost planets of the Sol System have long enjoyed peace and safety, but a chained sun will not remain bound for long.
Astrallite
In cytherocentric orbit, the crystal seed farms shimmer like fine gossamer mesh. The young astrallite tugs at the lattice as it dreams of soaring between planets.
Outer World
Languid atmospheres churn across the giants, while the moons stand bare against the threats beyond. A void detests nothing as deeply as it detests the material, and the outer planets are voids apart.
Solar Pulse
Nuclear energy drums through the Chained Sun. It swells and bubbles, until it lashes out towards space. Each pulse is a wave of radioactivity that tears through the Sol system. Now it is also the method the sun uses to deliver reinforcements of scourge.
Kneel
Kneel is a combat sport, a duel won by forcing your opponent to their knees before they bring you to yours. The simple nature of the sport allows all kinds of disciplines to pit themselves against one another.
Padi
Padi is the foundation of which much of the Sol System builds their meal. As a base or as a side, the humble grain promises to be filling and nourishing.
Luna
Luna and Tellus dance across the sky, the forbidden paradise and the barren rock. A thin silvery atmosphere protects the moon from space, and the pale lunar lands contrast with deep dark seas.
Explore Solaris
A compendium of the worldbuilding written for my upcoming webcomic. Solaris is a love letter to the wonder I felt looking up at the stars as a kid, and it reimagines our solar system as vivid and mysterious place with aliens galore. It is not a world without danger. The stars are hostile, and the sun itself has laid siege on Mercury. Angelic armies have scorched the planet, and people fear what will happen should the defence at Penumbra fail. Winner of Most Beautiful New World 2022 at the World Anvil Worldbuilding Awards, and Worldember Best Body of World 2023
