Symbiosis

Symbiosis is a mutualistic and natural form of body modification. People can get live corals, plants, crystals and more embedded into their skin. It has been practiced in Neptune since ancient times, and spread across Sol with spacefarers.

Airship of Theseus

The oldest and most grand of Uranus' floating cities, Theseus Eyrie, is the only airship that still drifts through the Aer. She has been in flight for millennia, although scholars argue that her extensive repairs mean she is no longer truly ancient.

Solaris

sapphic love in space

We didn't believe in angels until they invaded. One by one, the sunscrapers of Mercury fell. At Penumbra, we fight back. -— A wiki for Solaris, a sapphic space opera

A compendium of the worldbuilding written for my upcoming webcomic. Solaris is a love letter to the wonder I felt looking up at the stars as a kid, and it reimagines our solar system as vivid and mysterious place with aliens galore.   It is not a world without danger. The stars are hostile, and the sun itself has laid siege on Mercury. Angelic armies have scorched the planet, and people fear what will happen should the defence at Penumbra fail.   Winner of Most Beautiful New World 2022 at the World Anvil Worldbuilding Awards, and Worldember Best Body of World 2023
